Apple (Malus) Charles Ross 11.5 L
An attractive mid-season eating apple.
Heavy crops of luminous yellow-green fruit with a clean, smooth finish and the occasional pink blush when ripe. Crisp, refreshing and rich in flavour, great for eating and juicing. Self-fertile and disease resistant.

Planting | Water pot thoroughly. Dig a hole twice the size of the pot and fork over the base. Remove pot and tease out roots. Position tree with top of root ball level with surrounding soil and replace soil around the tree adding a handful of general fertiliser. Water thoroughly. |

Pruning | Between November and early March when the tree is dormant. Remove crossing, rubbing, weak, dead, diseased, damaged and dying branches, and shorten main branches to one bud. Leave side shoots unpruned to develop fruit in the second year. |
