Beetroot Perfect 3 - Reliable high yielding 'Detroit' type producing globe shaped beets with a deep red colour, suitable for growing as baby or standard sized beets, preferring fertile soil.

Beetroot Boltardy - A very popular bolt resistant variety, ideal for early sowing. Producing even sized globe beets with great flavour, quality and texture. Prefers fertile soil. For baby beets harvest when they are about golf ball sized.

Key Information:

• Prefers well drained fertile soil
• Twist the tops off when you harvest to prevent 'bleeding'
• For continuous crops sow every 2/3 weeks

Advice & Tips:

• Sow in a prepared seed bed
• Sow thinly in rows of 30 cm apart
• Cover lightly with 2.5 cm of fine soil
• Firm gently and keep moist
• Seedlings appear 7-21 days, sow every 3 weeks for continuous crops
• When large enough thin to 10cm apart.
• Pull when roots are 5-7cm in diameter
• Keep crops moist & weed free
