Golden Acre Primo II - Compact plants produce very firm and dense Medium sized, ball headed cabbages through the summer. Has very good flavour, use cooked or in salads. Prefers fertile, moisture retentive soil.

Greyhound - A reliable, fast maturing, summer pointed cabbage with a small heart and few outer leaves. The compact have excellent flavour and can also be harvested early as 'greens' Prefers well cultivated soil.

Savoy Vertus - Known for excellent flavour, this winter cropping variety has round, flattish heads of densely packed leaves. Can also be harvested earlier as young and tender 'greens'. Prefers well cultivated soil

Key Information:

• Can be grown in a greenhouse or outdoors
• Best grown in fertile soil or grow bags
• Avoid diseases such as club root root by rotating crops yearly

Advice & Tips:

• Sow indoors, thinly in pots of seed compost
• Keep at approx. 13°C & keep moist
• Seedlings usually appear within 2-3 weeks
• Indoors - Remove covers when seedlings appear
• When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays
• Avoid frosts
• When ready sow thinly in rows 15cm apart in a prepared bed outside
• Keep moist & weed free
