House Plants are available for Click & Collect & Local Delivery only - within a 20 mile radius of Waterside Garden Centre.
The Venus Fly Trap plant is quite possibly the most famous (& funky) carnivorous house plant - known for trapping and then eating insects.
Green & red flushed evergreen carnivorous plant lined with 'jaw/teeth' like stems.
The Dionaea Muscipula flycatcher plant lures insects in with its sweet nectar before snapping their 'jaw' shut around the insect quickly, making for a very fascinating indoor plant. Although it is extremely tempting to trigger the plant, each trap will only work a few times before dying if they are unable to get the nutrients from an insect.
Venus Fly Traps are ornamental & also pet-friendly (non-toxic).
This bog plant prefers a bright position with a saucer with water.
