Dypsis lutescens Areca (17cm) Bamboo Palm
Bring a touch of the tropics to your home with the Dypsis Lutescens Areca (more commonly known as the Bamboo Palm, Golden Cane Palm, Areca Palm, Yellow Palm, or Butterfly Palm plant). Known for air-purifying qualities & being pet-friendly.
This tall, evergreen, bamboo palm is a popular house plant known for its tropical look with upright stems and long arching linear stalky leaves.
The Areca palm is slow growing & fantastic for home indoor decor; however, the correct care is needed to get the best out of your Dypsis plant. They are often used as a privacy screen.
Although this plant prefers a warm atmosphere don't place it near a radiator or heat source, and choose a brightly lit spot but not in direct sun.
Useful Information:
