Westland John Innes Ericaceous Compost is a loam based naturally reduced peat mix designed for use with all ericaceous plants, providing perfect nutrient and water retention, with added grit and sand for drainage. Extra iron and nutrients assist your plants with the formation of chlorophyll, keeping leaves green and healthy.
This ericaceous compost is great for growing lime-hating plants such as rhododendrons, camellias, azaleas, confiers, magnolias, acers, heathers, pieris, skimmias, berberias, blueberries and hydrangeas. It can be used in pots, containers, tubs & beds where the garden soil is too alkaline or chalky.
A peat free version of Westland John Innes Ericaceous Compost is now available.
