Gooseberry - Hinnonmaki Red 3L
An excellent mid-season variety. Sweet tasting, flesh red fruits ripen in July. A heavy cropping variety that is a must for the garden. Their fruit can be eaten off the branch fresh or used in many culinary dishes.
Fruit is excellent for summer pies, fruity jams and bottling. A good source of antioxidants and vitamins.
Extremely hardy, mildew resistant.
Useful Information:
| Planting | Best in a moist soil in a sunny posistion. Water plant thoroughly before planting. Plant in a hole large enough to avoid disturbing the roots. Refill the hole. Keep moist. Gooseberries benefit from regular feeding with a well balanced fertiliser. |
