This seed tray is made from sustainable bamboo & rice, free from petroleum based plastics & BPA.

Made with provision for drainage holes. If you are using the tray in a position where you are happy for water to drain through the base, then you need to break open the 12 drainage holes in the base using a screwdriver.

If you are using the seed tray on a windowsill where you do not want the water to drain through, then leave the 12 thin circles in the base intact (which will hold water in the tray) but be careful not to over water your seeds.

Greenhouses might be made of glass but they are full of plastic pots and trays. Now Haxnicks Bamboo Seed Trays and Pots allow you to decrease the amount of plastic used. They are plastic free and an environmentally friendly alternative to single use plastic pots. Made from sustainable bamboo and rice they can be used year after year. Finally, when you need to dispose of them they can be put on the compost heap to decompose within 6 to 12 months.
