Melcourt Mini Pine Chip Nuggets - 60 L

Suitable for smaller beds, borders or outdoor spaces such as window boxes and roof gardens, Melcourt's Pine Mini Chips will add an interesting visual element to planted areas. When left undisturbed the Mini Chips, made from pine bark, can last for up to two years and will provide an insulating layer to soil to prevent damage from extreme weather conditions. They also act as a weed suppressor to eliminate the need for hoeing or chemical weed treatments.

The Mini Chips are simple to lay; in beds and borders, the depth of the Chips should be between 50 to 100mm, with a 5% margin for settlement. As the Chips will remain loose when used in tubs, pots and window boxes, there should be a sufficient depth between the soil and container rim to ensure the Chips remain in place.

Advice and Tips:

• Store in cool, dry conditions
• Reseal bag after use to avoid drying out or contamination
• Always wear gloves whilst gardening & wash hands after use
• Use in a ventilated place and avoid breathing in dust
• Before laying, ensure the area is entirely free from weeds
• A white mould may appear on the surface of this product - this is completely normal and is not harmful to humans, animals or plants
