Melcourt SylvaGrow Peat Free Planter for Organic Growing 45L

With a blend of fine bark, coir, green compost and balanced organic materials, the SylvaGrow Peat Free Planter is perfect for growing a wide range of vegetables such as tomatoes, lettuces, beans, peas and potatoes. The nutrients inside the grow bag are sufficient for the first 3-4 weeks of growth, before the small plants are planted out into containers or beds.

For best results, the planter should be shaken before use to loosen the contents, with the relevant amount of holes cut into the top of the bag; any number of holes can be cut according to your specific needs and the amount of vegetables that you plan to grow. The planter should be placed in a sheltered, frost-free location, either outside or in a greenhouse to protect the plants from any extreme weather conditions, with holes placed down both sides of the bag just above ground level for drainage purposes.

At the end of the growing season, the contents of the planter can be repurposed as a soil improver in other areas of your garden.
