Mr Fothergills Red Cabbage Seeds - Romanov F1 Variety
Romanov F1 is a sweet tasting red cabbage with attractive crisp leaves, great for eating raw or cooked. These seeds will yield colourful heads of cabbage that grow up to 2kg and provide a great source of vitamin C & antioxidants.
Sow indoors between February-April or outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between May-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors & water well until plants are established
- Seedlings usually appear within 14-21 days
- Transplant 45cm apart when plants reach 10cm tall, allowing 45cm between rows
- Plant firmly & water well
- Or sow thinly indoors into a tray of compost & water well
- Place in a cold frame or unheated greenhouse & keep moist
- Transplant 5cm apart to other trays when large enough
- Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions before planting out
- To avoid disease always rotate brassica crops each year
