Blue Lake is a popular climbing bean variety that produces large crops of juicy round dark green pods with white seeds. It is generally used as green beans but can also be left to ripen & used dried as haricots. Sow indoors or outdoors for tasty beans that are a good source of vitamins C & A and fibre.
Sow indoors between April-May or sow outside between May-July & they will typically be ready to Harvest between July-October.
