Mr Fothergill's Cucumber Seeds - Carmen F1 Variety
Carmen F1 is a high quality female cucumber variety with excellent disease resistance and tolerance to cold weather. Sow these seeds indoors to yield mild flavoured fruits that grow up to 40cm long.
Sow indoors between February-May & they will typically be ready to harvest between July-October.

- Weather tolerant & resistant to powdery mildew, scab & leaf spot

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors in small pots & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 20-25°C is ideal & keep moist
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-21 days
- Plant out to large pots, growbags or greenhouse border
- Provide support to train plants up canes, strings or netting
- Stop lateral growth 2 leaves past each fruit
- Pinch out growing tips when they reach the roof
- Damp down greenhouse regularly to provide a humid climate
- Remove any male flowers that form (no swelling behind petals)
