Mr Fothergill's Cucumber Seeds - Louisa F1 Variety
Louisa F1 is a is a high quality female type indoor cucumber variety with resistance to powdery mildew & target leaf spot. Grow these seeds in a greenhouse or polytunnel for high yields of long & slender cucumbers that can be picked young or left to mature for use as slicing 'cues'.
Sow between February-May & they will typically be ready to harvest between July-October.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow indoors in small pots & water well
- Keep in the warmth - a temperature of 20-25°C is ideal & keep moist
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-21 days
- Plant out to large pots, growbags or greenhouse border
- Provide support to train plants up canes, strings or netting
- Stop lateral growth 2 leaves past each fruit
- Pinch out growing tips when they reach the roof
- For sweetest flavour pick fruits when up to 5cm long
- Fruits left to mature can be used as slicing cues
