Mr Fothergills Lettuce Seeds - Catalogna Variety
Catalogna is a loose leaf type lettuce with a good flavour, perfect for use in mixed salads. Grow these seeds outdoors to pick individual leaves as needed or harvest as whole 'non-hearting' heads.
Sow outdoors between March-August & they will typically be ready to harvest between April-October.

- Good flavour - great in mixed salads
Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors allowing 25cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear within 7-14 days
- Thin out to 20cm apart
- No thinning is necessary if only baby leaves are required
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply of leaves
- For baby leaves cut a few leaves from each plant; they will grow back for up to 4 cuts
- Cut the whole heads of mature plants
