Mr Fothergills Turnip Seeds - Oregon F1 Variety
Oregon F1 is a fast growing maincrop turnip variety with sweet tasting roots. Sow these seeds outdoors to yield high quality yellow turnips that provide a great source of vitamin C & are ideal for roasting or grating raw in salads.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
- Thin out at 10cm apart
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply
- Turnips are best eaten small & young; for baby turnips harvest when diameter of a golf ball
- Take alternate plants & leave others to mature
