Mr Fothergills Turnip Seeds - Sweet Marble Variety
Sweet Marble is a fast growing turnip variety with sweet white roots that have no bitter after taste. These seeds will yield high quality turnips that provide an excellent source of vitamin C and they can be eaten raw or cooked. The leaves can be used as spinach.
Sow outdoors between March-July & they will typically be ready to harvest between June-November.

Advice & Tips:
- Sow thinly outdoors where they will crop, allowing 30cm between rows
- Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days
- Thin out at 10cm apart
- Water well until established
- Sow every 2-3 weeks to ensure a continuous supply
- Turnips are best eaten small & young; for baby turnips harvest when diameter of a golf ball
- Take alternate plants & leave others to mature
