Pear (Pyrus) Williams' Bon Chrétien 11.5 L
An excellent early eating variety
Regular crops of medium to large oval-shaped fruits, with smooth pale green skin that turns golden yellow when ripe. Sweet, juicy and refreshing. Great for eating, poaching and preserving.

Planting | Water pot thoroughly. Dig a hole twice the size of the pot and fork over the base. Remove pot and tease out roots. Position tree with top of root ball level with surrounding soil and replace soil around the tree adding a handful of general fertiliser. Water thoroughly. |

Pruning | Between November and early March when the tree is dormant. Remove crossing, rubbing, weak, dead, diseased, damaged and dying branches, and shorten main branches to one bud. Leave side shoots unpruned to develop fruit in the second year. |
