Ronseal Garden Paint is available in the following colours: Bluebell, Blackbird, Charcoal Grey, Cherry Blossom, Cornflower, Daisy, English Oak, Lime Zest, Moroccan Red, Pebble, Pewter Grey, Pink Jasmine, Rainforest Green, Sage, Slate, Summer Sky, & Sundial.
This outdoor paint should only be used on a warm day with the temperature above 10°C, ideally make sure there is no rain forecast. For best results when painting, old wood that has already been painted or has been left outside for a while should be quickly sanded down. This will get rid of loose paint and give you a smooth surface to work with. Sheds and benches can be prepared with a stiff wire brush. This paint is not suitable for decking and new wood needs to be left to weather for six weeks to ensure all coatings have washed away. After six weeks, lightly sand the surface to remove excess fibres and splinters. For brick or stone brush away any dust or debris and wipe clear before painting. Metal surfaces should be primed before you apply the garden paint. For optimum coverage & appearance when priming surfaces choose a grey primer for darker colours and a white primer for lighter colours. Finally terracotta will need to be sanded down until all glaze is properly removed.
