Spathiphyllum Sweet Silvio (Peace Lily)

Spathiphyllum Sweet Silvio (more commonly known as a Peace Lily) is an extremely attractive houseplant. It is most famous for its ability to purify the air around us, so not only do they look incredible but they are also a brilliant plant to have around the home or office.

This Peace Lily has fantastically glossy green leaves, with tiny white flowers borne in a dense spike within an ovate, white, hood-like spathe.

Researchers from NASA, among others, have proven that Peace Lillies contribute to a healthier indoor climate in the home and workplace and not only have an air-purifying effect but also have a positive influence on the psychology of people.

This house plant has also been known to promote better rest/sleep by improving the levels of humidity helping you to breathe better.

Did you know? Although they are often called a 'Peace Lily' they are not actually in the lily family.
