Taylors Bulbs - Hymenocallis Festalis Daffodil

Known by the alternative names of 'Peruvian Daffodil' or 'Spider Lily', Hymenocallis Festalis is native to Peru and produces fragrant white blooms during the height of summer, which have a similar appearance to a traditional daffodil.

Growing best in well-drained but fertile soil, these flowers look wonderful as part of a border, but can also be grown in pots and containers if you have a smaller outdoor space.

Advice & Tips:

• Hymenocallis Festalis likes fertile soil which is moist but well drained.
• Bulbs can be planted out outside once the risk of frost has passed, spaced 15cm apart and at a depth of 13cm.
• Place in a sunny position and water regularly.
• Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering.
• Lift and dry bulbs before first frost of winter, and store in a frost-free location until the next planting season arrives.
