Taylors Bulbs - Mixed Ixias

Ixia are commonly known as the African Corn Lily, even though they bear no resemblance to a more traditional Lily flower. Each of the star-shaped flowers bloom on the end of a thin, dark green stem, in a variety of complimenting colours including pink, white and orange.

The brightly coloured blooms will start to appear in the late summer months, brightening up your beds and borders; the long-lasting flowers also look special as part of cut arrangements so that you can enjoy the blooms indoors.

• Contains a variety of different coloured flower bulbs
• Grow to a height of 40cm

Advice & Tips:

• Plant in an open, sunny location in well-drained soil.
• Cover in compost to protect from late frosts after planting.
• Water well during the growing season, until the foliage dies down.
• Lift and dry the corms before the first frost of winter. Store in a frost-free location until the next planting season arrives.
