These Unwins onion seeds will produce wonderful bulbs that have a fine globe shape and golden skin. The Ailsa Craig onion seeds are the perfect homegrown vegetable as the bulbs ca be stored throughout the winter and string. Alisa Craig Onions are the perfect all rounder.
Sow indoors from January - April and outdoors from March - April for typical harvest between August - September
Key Information:
- Perfect globe shape
- Bulbs can be stored throughout winter and spring
- Allow 30cm between each plant
Advice & Tips:
- Sow seeds thinly in a seed & cutting compost and ensure that it is kept moist
- Keep in the warmth (10-15 degrees) and keep moist.
- Gradually accustom young plants to conditions outside for 2-3 weeks before planting outside to their cropping positions.
